Community Coaching – Essential Skills Course

  • Who is this course for: The course is designed for new or existing coaches to plan, engage and deliver quality environments for participants who are eager to learn or play social sport. 
  • Estimated time to complete: The course contains 8 modules and will take approximately 3 hours to complete. 

Community Officiating – General Principles

  • Who this course is for: the course is aimed at first time and beginner officials (e.g. parents) of all sports. 
  • Estimated time to complete: The course contains 3 modules and will take approximately 3 hours to complete. 

Community Coaching – Masterclass, How you Improve

  • Who this course is for: Existing community coaches who have a basic understanding, knowledge, and/or experience of coaching at the community level. 
  • Estimated time to complete: This course aligns with the Coaching Development Model and takes approximately 1 hour to complete.

Director Education – The Start Line, Sport Governance Foundations

  • Who this course is for: The course provides the foundational knowledge to enable new board and committee members to understand their duties and responsibilities and make an effective contribution to their organisation’s board.
  • Estimated time to complete: 2 hours. 

Director Education – The Defence, Managing Risk

  • Who this course is for: The course assists board and committee members to explore the elements of a good risk management system to protect and grow your sporting organisation.
  • Estimated time to complete: 1.5 hours.

Director Education – The Spirit of the Game, Organisational Culture

  • Who this course is for: This course assists board and committee members who are working to develop or maintain a strong positive culture in their sporting organisation.
  • Estimated time to complete: 1.5 hours.

Accessibility – Disability Sports Australia, Accessibility Champion

  • Who this course is for: The course assists sports clubs and leisure centres to become more accessible for people with disability. 
  • Estimated time to complete: The course will take approximately 1.5 hours to complete.

Australian Sporting Alliance for People with a Disability (ASAPD) – Disability Inclusion for Coaches

  • Who this course is for: The course provides basic skills, understanding and knowledge in a practical real-life framework so you can be a more inclusive coach of people with a disability in sport and active recreation programs and activities.
  • Estimated time to complete: The course will approximately 60 minutes to complete.
